About The Role:
You will play a vital role in projects, including multimillion dollar housing developments, large renovations, EQC repairs and light commercial works. You will be exposed to many residential repair processes and designs both big & small. What You Will Be Doing:‍

• Running a crew of 4-5.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Using various carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining.
• Assembling wood and other construction materials.
• Identifying and solving construction-related problems or challenges that may arise during the project.
• Effectively communicating with clients, contractors, and the team members.
• Observing H&S on site.

Skills & Experience Required:‍

• Trade Qualified Carpenter.
• Previous experience as a leading hand.
• Full set of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Awareness of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Able to motivate and organise staff.
• Class 1 Drivers License & Reliable transport.
• Ability to read & interpret plans & specifications accurately, be able to set-out & build to plan.
• Full tool kit.
• Strong attention to H&S.
• Valid Site Safe - we can assist with this.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug check.
