Excavator Operators

About The Role:
We are looking for skilled & experienced Excavator Operators for immediate starts. From subdivisions & pump stations to commercial works and residential super lots, there is a great lineup of work ahead... and it's only growing from there!Our Client is a progressively growing civil company with specialised drainage projects across Christchurch, Ashburton & the wider Canterbury region with plenty of ongoing work.

‍What You Will Be Doing:‍

• De-watering, deep drainage trenching, backfilling, and finishing works.
• Excavating within shields and manhole boxes.
• Working on excavators 5 ton - 30 ton, rollers, dumpers.
• Machine maintenance and care - NO smoking in cabs.
• This role will include Labouring work and assisting the team on the ground as & when required.

‍What We Require:‍

• Minimum 4 years' experience.
• Class 1 2 license, W,T,R
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude & MUST be used to hard work.
• Be reliable, trustworthy, and team player.
• A good level of physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Strong awareness for all things H&S
• STMS, Confined spaces, First Aid, is an advantage.
• Valid Site Safe and or Construct Safe - we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
