About The Role:
Max People are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on projects in Dunedin. As a Carpenter, you'll play a crucial role in various projects, using your carpentry expertise to contribute to high-quality construction work.

Wages: $28.00 - $31.00 depending on experience

What You Will Be Doing:

• Accurately measure, cut, and shape materials to precise specifications.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Utilize various carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining.
• Assemble wood and other construction materials.
• Constructing and repairing structures.
• Identify and solve construction-related problems or challenges during the project.
• Effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Work across multiple sites.
• Observe health and safety protocols on-site.

What Is Required Of You:

• Trade Qualified Carpenter.
• Previous experience in carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.
• Full set of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Good level of physical fitness
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Awareness of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Class 1 driver's license and reliable transport.
• Valid Site Safe - we can assist with this.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
