Excavator Operator

About The Role:
Max People are looking for skilled & experienced Plant Operators to start with us on various projects around Christchurch! Our client is a well established presence in the Canterbury civil space.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating heavy equipment including trucks, loaders, graders, compactors, excavators
• Undertake general labouring duties, including operation of small plant and manual labour
• Comply with Traffic Management Plans
• Operate all heavy equipment and vehicles in a safe and efficient way to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Comply with the companies Health and Safety requirements
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Clean machines as required and keep machines in a clean presentable state

What We Require:

• Minimum 2 years' experience.
• Class 1 license, W,T,R
• Awesome at final trim work
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude & MUST be used to hard work.
• Be reliable, trustworthy, and team player.
• A good level of physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Strong awareness for all things H&S
• Valid Site Safe and or Construct Safe - we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
