We are looking for experienced Drainlayers as well as a top notch Drainage Foreperson. Also opportunities for skilled Excavator Operators & some ready for business Drainage Labourers. From subdivisions & pump stations to commercial works and residential super lots, there is a great lineup of work ahead... and it's only growing from there!Our Client is a progressively growing civil company with specialised drainage projects across Christchurch, Ashburton & the wider Canterbury region with plenty of ongoing work.

Drainage Foreperson:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil drainage, with at least 2 years as a foreman or supervisor.
- Relevant qualifications or certification in drainage, water, and civil infrastructure.
- Current licenses 1,2,W,T,R
- Good leadership, communication and planning skills.
- Read & interpret plans.
- Meet targeted dates & within budget.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and other contractors.
- Compliance and best practices are met, delivering high-quality assured works.
Drainlayers:
- Minimum 3 years' experience.
- Read plans and take levels and heights.
- Hold relevant licenses to the field. registered OR certifying
- Class 1 license, W,T,R.
- Have de-watering experience, pump knowledge.
- Know how to bench manholes and have a good eye for quality.
- Set up pipe lasers.
Drainage Labourers:
- Minimum experience 2 years.
- Not afraid of getting dirty in this very physical job.
- Hold current driver's license. WTR or more is an advantage.
- Must have own transport.
- Use of compaction equipment, concrete saw & assisting with setting lasers for heights & levels.
What We Require:
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude & MUST be used to hard work.
- Be reliable, trustworthy, and team player.
- A good level of physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
- Strong awareness for all things H&S
- STMS, Confined spaces, First Aid, is an advantage.
- Valid Site Safe and or Construct Safe - we can assist with this
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
