About The Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Drainage Labourer to get rough and tough on the job. As a Drainage Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of drainage projects. This hands-on role involves working outdoors, collaborating with a dynamic team, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.Our Client has projects in the pipeline across Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region with plenty of ongoing work.

What You Will Be Doing:‍

• Install drainage pipes, trenches, catch basins, and related components
• Work closely with experienced professionals, including construction workers, engineers, and supervisors
• Ground testing
• Operating small plant
• Maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excavation and Backfilling
• Assist in excavation and digging around services
• Operate various hand tools and equipment efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What We Require:

• MUST be used to hard work
• MUST want to progress in this field
• Previous experience in construction and drainage work on civil sites is ideal
• Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment used in drainage work is ideal
• A great can do attitude and drive to support the team
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Strong awareness for all things H&S
• Class 1 Drivers License - manual
• Reliable transport
• Valid Site Safe and or Construct Safe - we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
