Project Scope:
- Structural repairs to the Bridge of Remembrance following the Christchurch earthquake

Challenges Faced:
- Retaining aesthetic integrity of the bridges’ architecture
- Working at heights
- Confined space entry

Resource supplied:
- Managed labour model; Foreman, Civil Carpenters, Labourers, Operators, Steelfixers - all ticketed with confined space and working at heights training

Value Added:
- 32 piles installed into the arch to a depth of 25 metres
- Reinforcing bars inserted into each column with 132 holes being bored into the four columns
